No other quotation describes my background more precisely.
For quite a while I searched for an explaination for something that described my artictic drive and I found it in this quotation.
While the development of my professional career was diverse, the development of my creative potential was versatile but I never said seriously: “Now I become an Artist!” With my sons birth something opened up and demanded to be set free.

„Soussen is based within herself and authentic, without being always aware of that or even have to be. She just IS and therefore, with her perceiving and direct approach, she is a sincere counterpart to me. She integrates in her art the way life is composed: a mixture of all features of human existence.
2008 I wrote down a sentence for her which echoes in her ever since:

THE WEIGHT IS LIGHT, TOO
WHEN YOU ARE SENSITIVE ABOUT IT
AND EVERY TENTATIVENESS HARBOURS GREAT STRENGTH AND ENERGY IN IT,
WHEN YOU ARE SENSITIVE ABOUT IT”
